Proposal for redesign of graphic identity
to achieve channel repositioning.
Nova is a channel directed primarily at a female audience with soap operas during the day and reality programs in the evening and night. The channel was looking to push their status to a more high-level viewing audience without losing their day-time soap fans. We decided on a rhombus shape, evocative of diamonds, as the logo base, in neutral black to emphasize the channel’s new desire for elegance. Working with this black and white palette, this simple proposal translates well to all necessary formats, creating high impact with minimum graphic resources.
