Complete rebranding for a terror channel: Idents, promotion, naming and logo.
For the Dark rebranding, we wanted to move away from more traditional elements synonymous with the horror-genre such as murders, weapons or monsters. Instead we concentrated on feelings and sensations such as fear, anguish, the occult and unknown. The idea was to create a physical space, yet at the same time conceptual, where each piece provided continuity content. Working with a black and white palette, there is much oozing, cloying and viscosity involved in the elements that all seem to have a mind of their own. The subtle sound effects serve to heighten the sense of unease. The name DARK fit the genre perfectly: evocative, memorable and powerful.
